How do I order an AR-15 lower receiver?

300-BlackoutUpper.com values your time and resources, so we have made it very easy to order from us.  Simply choose your AR-15 lower receiver from the menu and purchase through our secure online checkout.

Will I need an FFL for my AR-15 Lower Receiver  purchase?

It depends if you order an 80% lower receiver or a stripped lower receiver. If you choose to purchase an 80% lower receiver you will NOT need to retain an FFL.

If ordering a stripped/serialized lower, you will need to locate an FFL dealer near you that can complete the necessary transfer. The licensed dealer will need to send us a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL) before we can process the order. Once we receive the payment and a signed copy of the FFL we will ship your order.

What is a Federal Firearms License (FFL)?

Often referred to as an FFL, a Federal Firearms License is a license granted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) giving authorization to engage in the transfer or sale of firearms in the United States.

Why MUST my serialized lower be sent to an FFL Dealer?

In accordance with the laws set forth by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), a serialized lower must first be transferred to a dealer in possession of a Federal Firearms License. Once the dealer has received your firearm the necessary paperwork can be processed and transfer completed.

What are the laws in my state of residence regarding ownership, completion, or possession of an 80% lower receiver?

Laws differ from state-to-state. You are responsible to know federal, state and local laws that pertain to purchasing, possessing or completing an 80% lower receiver.
